VISITA AO TRIBUNAL DA RELAÇÃO DE LISBOA DO PRESIDENTE DO TRIBUNAL SUPERIOR REGIONAL DE VIENA E DE GRUPO DE CANDIDATOS A JUÍZES - ÁUSTRIA

No dia 7 de outubro de 2026, o Tribunal da Relação de Lisboa acolheu a visita de um grupo de estudantes da ELSA – European Law Students Association – Universidade de Lisboa.

O referido grupo teve a possibilidade de contactar, mais de perto, com o quotidiano deste Tribunal Superior e de conhecer a sua história e as suas instalações.

O grupo foi recebido pelo Presidente do Tribunal, Juiz Desembargador Carlos Castelo Branco e pelo Técnico de Justiça em funções na Presidência do Tribunal, Eliseu Gomes Gaspar, tendo efetuado visita às instalações do Tribunal da Relação.

VISIT TO THE LISBON COURT OF APPEAL BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE VIENNA HIGHER REGIONAL COURT AND A GROUP OF JUDGE CANDIDATES – AUSTRIA

On 9 October 2026, the Lisbon Court of Appeal hosted a delegation led by the President of the Vienna Regional Court, comprising a group of approximately 60 trainee judges, as well as judges and prosecutors involved in judicial training within the jurisdiction of that High Court.

The group had the opportunity to gain a closer insight into the day-to-day workings of this High Court and to learn about its history and current situation.

The group was received by the President of the Court, Judge Carlos Castelo Branco, and by the Court Clerk acting in the President’s Secretariat, Eliseu Gomes Gaspar, and toured the premises of the Court of Appeal.

According to the organisers, the aim of this visit – which formed part of a broader study tour of Portuguese legal institutions, held between 5 and 10 October 2026 – was to familiarise participants with the host country’s legal system and judiciary, whilst enabling them to establish contacts with representatives of the local justice system; to this end, the Lisbon Court of Appeal was considered an essential part of the programme.
